[ All of Kleken's strength is in his tentacles, so unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately for Minos) he doesn't have anywhere near the strength himself to resist. ]

[ Not that he would, smiling the way he is into the kiss and enticing Minos to further let himself go. He falls easily enough down onto the bed, eyes widened in momentary surprise before curving in amusement once more. There are zero attempts to keep his robe closed, the material slipping open with certainly no help from the tentacles sliding in and out of his shadows. ]

Ah... I bruise easily.

[ Is that a warning or is that goading. ]

Good.

[ Kleken’s provoking him like a matador toward a bull and Minos is completely falling for it even if he knows better, dammit. ]

I’m sure the Shadowlord won’t mind as long as I return you in one piece.

[ Granted, “knowing better” is becoming an increasingly farfetched thing the longer they go at this. ]

[ He certainly wouldn't admit it out loud, but the more Minos loses himself to his own passions, the more attractive he finds the normally stuffy man. And perhaps even worse, the more Kleken wants to continue provoking him into losing his cool. ]

I do hope you'll do your best to hold true to those words.

[ Reaching up an arm to curl around the other's neck once more, he drag him down into a rough kiss, challenging him to take the lead once more. ]

[ It’s been a while since someone had actually managed to goad him this far. Maybe it’s because he’s still feeling a little emotionally raw after earning Nina’s ire over the haunted house thing, but he finds it much harder to cling to things like composure and gentlemanly comportment right now.

When Kleken brings their lips together for another kiss, Minos bites down at his bottom lip, not so much to discourage this as it is satisfying a very simple urge to draw blood.

That brotherhood of assassins who’d trained him years ago had done a good job in drawing out his bloodlust—it seems that no matter how hard he tries to tamp that side of himself down, it’ll come back to haunt him anyway. His hands hastily undo the ties of Kleken’s terrycloth robe to expose him more fully, before tracing the sharp points of his fingernails over bare patches of skin, as though he’s marking Kleken’s vitals.

And he very well might be doing just that. ]

[ The bite to his lip draws a low hiss out of Kleken and a retaliatory digging of his own nails into Minos' back. The aggression suits him well, Kleken thinks in passing before pointedly groaning against Minos' mouth to encourage him further while arching himself into the trails of his fingers. He's never been one for chasing pain, but the desperation in the other's actions is all too sweet to turn away. ]

[ There would be other chances to teach Minos his own preferences anyway. Kleken was rather sure of that. ]

[ Each mark Minos leaves on his body blooms brightly against his pale white skin, as vibrant as his eyes that stay narrowed with heady interest as he makes a point of making their kiss even messier. ]

[ Minos drew this blood, he can have it painted on him as a result. ]

[ To his credit, Minos keeps his scratches light, but there’s no reason why he can’t let a spot redden or two, especially not when it’s already so difficult to simply focus with the way Kleken’s distracting him.

And the bastard hasn’t even started using his tentacles yet.

The kiss comes almost as a relief in comparison, as though he might be swallowing down Kleken’s lies, letting those words of his from earlier sink into him, almost convincing him that they’re true.

Which ones? Well, that’ll be up to Kleken to decide, won’t it?

Minos breaks the kiss with a gasp, the golden flicker of Luminatics in his eyes as his Minotaur seems on the verge of bursting through in the heat of passion—but something seems to keep it from manifesting further than this.

Frustrating.

He can at least appreciate the mess he’d made on Kleken’s too-pale chest, at the scratches he’d left behind, though what actually flickers across his face in that moment is a look of embarrassment—a brief moment of clarity.

He hadn’t meant to let it get that far. ]

[ What a lovely and dangerous look in his eyes. One he soaks in for the moment, but even more delightful is the embarrassment that follows once Minos sees the markings he's left behind on Kleken's body. How many could say they've seen that sort of look on the composed butler's face? ]

[ He smiles once more, fingers sliding up to brush aside a bit of Minos' hair in a light gesture of flirtation, gently leading the other man back on track before he can get any more of that clarity back. ]

I'll wear these with pride. Though I hope this isn't the only place you'd like to leave a mark.

...You’re goading me.

[ And it’s working goes unsaid. And as with many other things about this encounter, Kleken’s hand feels oddly warm as it slides through his hair—or maybe he’s the one who’s getting a little too hot and bothered for comfort himself.

He can’t tell. All this is so damned new to him. Whatever dossiers he’d studied, whatever research he’d conducted…all of that vanishes in an instant, dissipating into nothingness like the Luminatics he’s managed to finally tamp down.

He’d have torn this place upside-down with the Minotaur if he could. Right now the best he can manage is property damage, and he’s not willing to go so far just yet. ]

I see this won’t be an easy partnership.

[ Did he really need to state the obvious, though? This time he leans in to Kleken much more gently to kiss him before he can attempt any more of his little lies, his hands almost tenderly brushing aside any stray tentacles that might get between him and Kleken’s skin. ]

I wouldn't dare.

[ He is literally doing it right now. With his knowing smile and playful fingers and mostly with the look that he gives Minos, one that makes it crystal clear he knows exactly what he's doing in taunting the other man into further action. ]

[ He's already picked up on how out of his depth the other seems to be, and though Kleken intends to guide him to his own preferences, he is rather interested to see what Minos himself likes. It's not something he'd given much thought to in the past, but now it's his biggest curiosity and one chase for answers that he won't be letting go of easily. ]

It's more enjoyable this way. I assure you.

[ But could those words be trusted so easily, considering who they were coming from? ]

[ His mouth opens again to say more, but he's lead into another kiss before he can. Gentle and sweet, as if resetting the mood. He goes with it for now, and it may surprise Minos just how sweetly and romantically Kleken can kiss when inspired. Even the tentacles fall back, disappearing back into shadows (for the moment) so that Kleken can have all of Minos' direct attention. ]

This is only getting in the way of our duties.

[ Enjoyment, that is. Though he finds that he’s starting not to mind it, not with Kleken’s expert handling, that tongue…

Somehow he almost misses the tentacles now.

But there’s still plenty of Kleken to enjoy, and now that he’s slowed down he lets his hands wander, climbing up Kleken’s arms, over the crook of his shoulder until he’s cupping those pale cheeks, Minos finally pulling away from the kiss to give him an ominously appraising look.

Give him a moment. ]

Are you worried about distractions? I hadn't imagined someone like myself would be a problem for you.

[ Kleken has absolutely been trying to be a problem this entire time and they're both well aware of that. Admittedly, his experience in these sorts of matter have given him a large advantage there. But should Minos get his senses back... ]

[ His gaze is pulled forward at the touch, noticing the look in the other's eyes isn't the hazy and lost one he would have preferred seeing there. A shame, he'd gotten him rather close. Perhaps it would be time to call in reinforcements. ]

Would you like for me to stop?

[ A firm smile— ]

No.

[ And he means that for everything Kleken just said.

Hope Kleken enjoys the ominous scrape of Minos’ claws against his skin. He leans in then, with something perfectly murderous in his smile— ]

But I’d like you to remember that you toy with the head butler of the Andersen family at your own risk.

[ Why did pointy objects have to be brought back into this, they were having such a pleasant time before this. Okay, one of them was having a pleasant time, one of them was feeling extremely conflicted about the situation. ]

[ Even with the threat quite literally at hand, Kleken presses against the hands on him to blow cool air teasingly against the other's lips, undeterred by the cold threat. ]

I won't remember.

[ Pointy objects are only a precaution, if only because they’re good at keeping Kleken’s slippery hide pinned down— ]

…I’m glad we understand each other.

[ In some weird way he means it, even if right now he’s maybe a little fed up, a little impressed, and a little frustrated at how impressed he is, because that sort of defiance is oddly a turn-on. Like everything else about Kleken’s aggravating behavior.

But to his credit, those claws don’t do more than scrape lightly against skin as Minos leans in for another kiss, if only to take his mind off of the baffling riddle of Kleken’s reply. Is he telling the truth to mess with him this time? Deliberately letting out a whopper of a brain teaser to fuck with him?

Maybe he’s just being rude?

Yes.

So Minos will be rude back, and slide a hand over the back of Kleken’s head to tug at his hair and open his throat for the biting. ]

[ This face? Being rude? ]

[ How could Minos even suggest such a thing. ]

[ Never mind that he's completely right, Kleken is pointedly being a pest after having his machinations so forcefully interrupted. Letting Minos get any sort of upper hand had never been a part of his plans for this, but adjusting to the flow was something he did best. ]

[ Even a flow that is increasingly moving away from his favor. The sharp inhale through his teeth is all too raw at suddenly having his hair tugged on, eyes narrowing for numerous reasons in response as his throat is laid bare before the other man. ]

[ One of them being a sharp arousal at the action, he'd loath to admit. ]

You could have asked-

[ And you would have obliged, comes the wry thought, as he follows up that bite by sucking on it, spurred by some strange desire to make his mark as painfully apparent as possible.

Never mind that it won’t be pretty if Count Andersen or the Shadowlord catch wind of this.

His handiwork done, he pulls away with a lick of his lips, his grip on Kleken’s hair loosening. There’s something irritatingly like satisfaction in his slight smile, but surely Kleken won’t begrudge him that? ]

Now, now. I’m the butler here. I’m perfectly capable of anticipating your wants and needs before you even think of them.

[ You slimy bastard goes unsaid. ]

[ If there's a soft hiss of a sound coming from Kleken, it's surely all in Minos' imagination. Because the man would sooner make uncouth, obnoxious moaning sounds before making anything close to a sound of pleasure at being treated so roughly. ]

[ The mark on his neck lays bright against his pale skin, his hair more mused than normally from the hand that so rudely demanded his attention. It's a messier look than the normally composed conman keeps, and one that he'll use to his advantage in continuing to incite the man before him. ]

[ This face is going to continue being rude. ]

[ With a smile. ]

Is that so? I have my doubts, considering I'm finding my current wants rather unfulfilled at the moment.

[ He smiles back, hearing the truth underneath that shameless reply.

Now, what would Lord Istvan say? Minos considers his reply, as he pulls his hand away to rub his thumb across his own lips, as though to savor the lingering taste of Kleken's surrender. ]

…Checkmate.

[ If it were not unbecoming of a gentleman to throw an entire individual out a window using his tentacles... ]

[ The look of annoyance is clear on Kleken's face for the briefest of moments, but Minos is easily close enough to reap the rewards of his own efforts. However short-lived they are, given the speed in which Kleken is wiping the look off his own face. ]

[ How could he let anyone catch him so offguard, however momentary. ]

I had thought we were done with the games.

[ A filthy lie, all too obviously in this case. ]

[ Wow, do it you coward. That’d just be a normal evening for an assassin like him, anyway!! ]

…Heh.

[ If only he had a camera for this…but then again, that look’s going to stick with him for a lifetime. He should be thanking Kleken, honestly.

But right now he just traces his pointy finger around the outline of that hickey he’d just made— ]

I’m sure someone of your caliber will learn to keep up eventually.

[ He’ll gladly be the one to do the goading this time around, thanks. ]

[ He can't do the expected, that'd be too boring!! ]

[ There's the brief narrowing of eyes once more at that smugness, smugness that should have been his own given the differences in their experience. It makes something inside of him rattle in irritability, an emotion he'd rather not linger in for too long. ]

[ He tampers down on the instinct to evoke Fright, letting a tentacle slip out of his sleeve to circle behind Minos' neck, reclaiming his compose with a practiced smile. ]

It would seem I've been too gentle with you.

[ Minos is just glad not to be underestimated. That might’ve reflected poorly on the Andersens, after all. ~~Never mind that going at it with Kleken was already going to reflect badly on the Andersens.~~

But he doesn’t want to think about the Andersens right now. Not when there’s a tentacle coming for him from behind, and Kleken’s still…some kind of a threat. ]

Funny. I was just about to say the same thing.

[ His hand closes lightly over Kleken’s throat. He doesn’t have to tighten his grip, but the threat is there. ]

[ ~~Rude, there are a countless number of people who would be more than happy to go at it with Kleken-~~ ]

Then please, do your best.

[ It would have been an excellent deterrent, normally. Kleken has never had a taste for pain nor discomfort, but the challenge in Minos' gaze is pushing him into territories he'd normally never enter on his own. Far be it from him to not meet and exceed any hidden expectations. ]

[ He presses into the hand, ignoring the pressure on his throat once more in favor of pushing against Minos' neck to drag him into another kiss, this time the challenge for control of it apparent. ]

[ ~~Yes, and most of them are chilling at the bottom of the Gold River—~~ ]

Gladly.

[ There’s that brief golden flicker of Luminatics in his eyes again—a clear challenge, a certain something in his tone that says he doesn’t believe the lying liar who lies can take it—and so what if Kleken cuts any further snide remarks off with a kiss?

Minos has already made his point, that grip around Kleken’s throat slackening as his kiss grows more vicious, so he can reach behind him and grab that tentacle to give it a squeeze.

Can Kleken even feel that? Come to think of it, none of his intelligence on the man had even indicated that he might be of Demi-Human origin… ]

[ It should be no surprise that Kleken's a man of secrets, even under those ever vigilant prying eyes trying to scrap pieces of information from him to use against him. Illusions are ever so useful in projecting specific images, and the man is willing to use every trick in the book to maintain an image he wants to show. ]

[ So that groan that pours into Minos' mouth just after the squeeze to his tentacle? It's hard to say if that's a natural reaction or a practiced one, but Kleken pushes into the kiss all the same, sacrificing what will inevitably be bruised lips for them both in favor of getting them both lost in the sensation. ]

[ Lost enough, hopefully, that Minos won't mind getting dragged forward so that Kleken can oh-so-helpfully curve a leg over his while more tentacles emerge to entangle them further. ]

[ Nothing suspicious or worrisome about being wrapped up in tentacles at all, surely. ]
