How long do you plan on fooling around like this?

[ Surely he hadn’t spilled that much inside of him— ]

[ He glances sharply at Minos' back once more at that first line but says nothing in response, distrusting those words immediately even as reason tells him that Minos doesn't deal in personal information the way he might. It's simply instinct, to assume that information about himself will be used against him at some point, and Kleken had very few experiences that have taught him otherwise. ]

[ Another put-upon exhale sounds from behind Minos' turned back, followed by the rustle of bedsheets as Kleken finally stands up, glancing back at the messy bed with a slight frown. He's not as clean as he'd like to be by far, but it'll have to do for now until he can get to a proper shower. ]

[ Minos pauses, before turning carefully around to look Kleken over once more. This time he’s much more composed, and maybe even a little…cocky? Something about Kleken’s words have sunk in like a capsized ship into the deeps, and he can’t help but smirk at it, leaning in to brush his fingers underneath Kleken’s chin. ]

[ Almost like a certain tsundere young lady he knows so well… ]

[ He absolutely does enjoy being spoiled, but he would rather choke on his own tentacle than say it. And he's rather tempted to choke Minos on a tentacle for daring to say it himself. No one asked for this outing, Sir. ]

I enjoy the finer things in life, just as any other would.

[ His head tilts up with the touch, annoyance crossing his expression for a fleeting moment before being slipped back behind a controlled mask of confidence. ]

I do enjoy spoiling others though.

[ With the way Minos says it, it sounds like the most hellish thing imaginable.

Honestly, he both sort of gets and doesn’t get how Lord Istvan could still put up with this one. But for now, he’s satisfied with having gotten a rise out of Kleken, and pulls his hand away. ]

[ It's funny how Kleken is thinking the exact same thing for the opposite reason. So long as no one in Umbraton sees, why shouldn't he take Minos for all he's worth? In whatever self-profiting and selfish ways he can. Why not indulge in something so inane he's rather sure Minos would never give him, just to see the man make a face. ]

He’s surprised at how long he’s tolerated this bastard, especially considering how they’ve both been confined in some small, shitty room all this time. He can practically still feel the suckers that’ve been stuck to his body only moments earlier.

He’s not sure he’ll be quite able to wash the feeling off.
