(( OOC: Looking at the skill, it looks like it's not the sort of status effect that stacks, just makes a person want to run away 'for a round' but I'm glad to leave it open for some player fun. ))

[ It takes a few moments more for the pheromones to fade from Kleken's system, and he finds himself needing to close his eyes for a moment to regain his senses as the last of it is breathed out. ]

[ He can't say he enjoyed the sensation, far from it in fact. He's rather loathe to lose control of a situation, but he can hardly fault a person for using every tool in their pocket to get what they want. If anything, it does intrigue him a bit more about Reign and what sort of scenario would push a man to jump so quickly to using an ability like that. ]

[ Bed sheet in hand, he begins to cross the room with little regard to his own modesty, his tentacles no longer emitting the sensation of Fright they did before. Though that likely doesn't help the disturbance of having a near nude man striding straight for a person. ]

But I believe we're both capable of having a conversation without such distractions.

[ Recent events back in his world has tilted his world view a little, and his mental state isn't the best to say the least, judging by the hint of redness around his eyes. But it meant he was also wary of certain groups who may end up discovering something that could jeopardise his dear friend. It didn't excuse him for what he did to the man, and thus he reaped the consequence.

If he wants to feel fear again, he much rather the sexy kind that flips his switch. As it stands, when Kleken moves closer, Reign finds himself shuffling back until he's trapped between the wall and the man. If only there's a pillar for him to hide behind, so he holds his hands up as if to ward off Kleken. ]

Right, but now you are a whole different kind of distraction.

[ He's going to pointedly and respectfully stare at squid-man's rather attractive being. Wait, is that impolite? ]

[ The smile he gives in return is all but innocent; this is a man who is well aware that he is some level of attractive, but more amusingly, a very large number of people find nudity uncomfortable while he does not. It wasn't a weapon he often got to wield, given the reputable organization he represented, but it was one he wasn't ashamed to use. ]

[ He comes to a stop just in front of Reign, tilting his head with that same non-innocent smile on his lips as he lets his eyes fall on the hands held out in defense. ]

If you'd like to touch me, you need only ask.

[ Reign is no stranger to nudity and sex. It's rather common at certain parties held by vampires. Doesn't mean he partakes in them, much less have much experience. Not that he's going to allow Kleken to see how much his state of undress is affecting him, despite the blush colouring his cheeks. ]

Who says I want to touch?! [ No, his voice most certainly did not went up an octave. ] Ahem... I mean, we're strangers and barely know each other. I was even hostile to you! [ Excuses, excuses.

He's just... going to try and sidle sideways, hands still held up. ]

[ How unfortunate, then, that Kleken follows that little slide to keep Reign boxed in. This is far too interesting to let him go, after all. ]

Oh, you're right there. I completely bypassed introductions, didn't I?

[ And he holds out a hand, just as one would for a very normal handshake, as if they weren't two nude men in a strange surrounding. ]

My name is Kleken.

[ Reign moves to the right, and the man follows him. To the left, and there he is. He doesn't like how trapped he feels (nor the way his pulse did a little jump), even if he knows he could easily push past and ~~escape~~ leave through the door, which is on the opposite side of the room.

He glances down at the offered hand, debates for a moment, then reaches out in a handshake. ]

Reign Fear. [ Don't try anything funny Kleken! He's going to pull his hand back, ignoring the heat of Kleken's palm in his, his lips forming a tiny pout. ] This makes us even now.

[ Kleken would never. ]

[ ... He absolutely would. ]

[ But in this moment, Kleken simply smiles in return, a smile that isn't necessarily calming with the predatory edge to it, but it is a smile. That must surely count for something. ]

[ When Reign moves to slip his hand away, Kleken makes a point to let his fingers curl and press suggestively against his palm as does. Not too long, not enough to be blatant, but just enough to be noticeable. ]

Certainly.

You're quite free to ask now, if you'd like.

[ Reign didn't think that he would see such a kind of smile on anyone else but vampires. But clearly this is a strange place with even stranger bedfellows.

The press of fingers against his palm isn't missed, the suggestion brief and then gone, as if a figment of his imagination if he chooses to ignore it.

He's quiet for a bit, holding Kleken's gaze, deciding which questions to ask first. Before he could open his mouth, there's a beep beep beep sound, pulling his attention towards the strange device on his wrist. That's when the strange voice from within starts talking and explaining about their current situation. ]

I presume you're going to tell me you have no part in this?

[ Kinda sorta maybe glaring at Klekan right now, as if it's the man's fault they're here in this place. ]

[ In response, he holds up his own wrist, the watch-like device on his own prominent against his paled skin. ]

If I were to set up such a system, I wouldn't have placed myself as a participant. It would be much more interesting to observe as a third party facilitator with the intention of creating scenarios to further the activities of the participants.

[ Which may be a convincing sort of explanation, if he didn't immediately blast away his own credibility with his next words. ]

Of course, that may all be a lie.

[ All right... So it is possible that they're both trapped in this strange place, this single room, with an exit that could lead them to probable answers.

And then Kleken has to go and ruin it.

Reign almost feels an oncoming headache. He sighs, rubbing his temple. ]

Do you lie as easily as you breathe?

Lying is much easier than breathing for someone of the sea like me.

[ Bold words for a man who has not actually spent any amount of extended time underwater, but given certain ocean life-like appearances, it's one of his more believable lies. ]

[ Speaking of which, a tentacle reaches partially out toward Reign's head, floating in the air between them. ]

Would you like some help with that?

Is that a trait of you sea-folks?

[ Not that Reign is familiar with such beings. Unless one counts merfolks and sirens of folklores. But luring sailors to their death and lying are two entirely different thing.

He narrows his eyes at the tentacle between them, then back at Kleken. ]

Are you going to tell me that they're excellent masseurs?

Of course.

[ Ready and willing to misrepresent any organization not actually his own, as always. ]

[ The tentacle gives a small 'wave' in return, an innocent motion from a man whose motives are clearly anything but in this moment of nude stand-off. ]

They certainly could be, in willing company.

[ Riiiiiiiiiight... Reign isn't sure, so he'll just chalk it up as a big MAYBE.

On the other hand, the tentacle is cute. That applies to the rest as well, should they make an appearance or come forward. Anyway, this place is as strange as it is already, what's one more? Besides, he could use a little massage, especially after what he was going through back home before appearing here.

He waves at the bed behind Kleken. ]

We might as well get comfortable.

[ With all the grace of someone often placed into a hosting position, Kleken stands back and makes a gesture to the bed, while the tentacle reaches out to offer a 'hand' to help lead Reign to the bed. A gesture that's hardly necessary, given the close proximity, but perhaps there's an ulterior motive there. Or perhaps they're simply polite. ]

[ It could go either way at this point. ]

After you then.

[ Reign raises his hand, as if to take the offered "hand". Instead, he gives the tentacle a gentle pat before moving to the bed.

Even with the bathrobe, he feels quite naked as he settles in the middle, the entire time watching Kleken from the corner of his eyes.

Would Kleken sit behind or before him? How do they want to go about this? Should he lie down? Reign just waits for Kleken to make his move, and will react accordingly. ]

[ If tentacles could huff, this one would, but as things are it curls over itself moodily before withdrawing back behind Kleken. Leaving the two of them alone, so to speak. ]

[ Which means Kleken is back to full attention on Reign, smiling right back at the other man's hesitation as he approaches the bed. ]

Lay down on your front. Though if you're feeling less shy, you could lay on your back.

[ Reign better pick one fast, or else Kleken will be right in his personal space again. ]

[ Laying on his front or back? Either choice leaves him entirely too vulnerable. On his front meant that he will be unable to see what Kleken is going to do to him, but on his back isn't any better as well, leaving him just as exposed.

Hah! Who's shy? He lets out a huff and shifts until he lies back properly on the bed, head propped on a pillow and keeping a close eye on Kleken. ]

What else?

Relax.

[ With a smile that suggests Reign should do anything but relax, Kleken comes to a stop next to the bed. And for a moment, it looks like he's about to sit down on nothing, but tentacles quickly pour out from the shadows under the bed to form a chair for him to sit on. A chair he looks all too comfortable in, and continues to retain none of his modesty in. ]

It'll make things easier.

[ Surely not ominous words, not when more tentacles are creeping up the side of the bed to reach for his arm. ]

[ Yeap, not disconcerting or ominous at all, as Reign stares wide-eyed at the appearance of those tentacles. Those don't set him on edge. It's the number of said tentacles that does. ]

Restraining me makes it easier?

[ The vampire tries not to tense as the tentacles move closer, his fingers twitching slightly as some brush against his skin, the touch a strange sensation. He inhales a deep breath and wills himself to relax.

It's just a massage. How weird can it get? ]

I wouldn't restrain you for this.

[ He absolutely would. ]

[ Whether Reign can instinctively tell that or not from Kleken's easily suspicious smile is all on him. Either way, the wave of tentacles is on the move, a few moving to curl along the length of the other man's arm and pulse over the length of it. Other smaller ones move to twine around his wrist, palm, and fingers, doing the same. ]

[ On the one hand, it technically counts as a massage, as the cool tentacles press in against his skin, working it over. On the other, it is highly invasive, not to mention mildly suggestive in the way the tentacles curl and run themselves along the length of each of Reign's fingers. ]

[ But surely this is just how tentacles massage right- ]

[ Reign has a niggling suspicion that Kleken isn't entirely a hundred percent honest, but he quickly learns to expect that of the man, aware of the risks he takes when accepting any offers from Kleken.

The coolness of the tentacles' surface doesn't bother him the way heat would. But it still feels odd, those tentacles, some thick and others thinner, touching in an all too intimate manner. He tries to move one arm, just to test his limits, and finds the tentacles coaxing him to relax, like a lover tenderly holding him down.

He's not sure if this is even a legitimate tentacle massage technique. ]

It's my head, you know, not my arms. They should be massaging my temples instead? That's why it's called a headache, no?

I had considered it a free service in order to alleviate your unease, but I'm quite honored that you have immediately entrusted your delicate head in my tentacles.

[ Yes, it is too late to change your mind Reign, because the tentacles are just as quick to take that 'invitation' as Kleken is to joke (is he joking?) about it. While the ones on his arms remain there, new ones slide up and over to position themselves on either side of the man's head, their tips brushing lightly against Reign's ears in curious nudges. ]

But if you insist we move straight to the main show.

[ It is indeed too late to change his mind the moment he brings attention to his head. Welp. So he can't help but tense slightly at the appearance of even more tentacles. Just how many can Kleken summon?! Is there no limit?

A shiver runs down his body as the tentacles playfully brush against the outside of his ears, and if it isn't tinged pink already, it is now. Those ears are rather sensitive, thank you, a revelation that has never cross his mind, no less. ]

As I said before, as long as you, or the tentacles, aren't doing anything funny, and instead genuinely want to help, then I'm fine with it.

[ This could go wrong in so many ways. ]

[ Kleken's tentacle limit is a second date discussion topic ♥ ]

[ The reaction to that light touch is noted, given the way Kleken's eyes seem to smile even more mischievously when he sees that. And urged on, given the way they start to trace over the edges of Reign's ears in teasing strokes, while Kleken himself reaches out with his hands to press the cooled tips of his fingers against the other man's temples as so huffily pointed out. ]

I would never dream of doing something funny.

[ And... to his credit, Kleken does actually start a gentle, circular motion with his fingers. An innocent touch in stark contrast to the teasing his tentacles continue on with. ]
